I'm Jessica Ross, a public health practitioner and your career and academic consultant at Grad on Purpose!  

I created Grad on Purpose, LLC because I wanted to provide support and resources for individuals who are looking to advance their education and careers in the most purpose-driven way possible!

The name Grad On Purpose came to me as a constant reminder and encouragement that every every step towards the career we are called to is for a purpose! I'm here to help you maximize every work experience on your resume, cover letter, and personal statement to market yourself as a cutting edge applicant and professional!

As a first-generation college graduate, I earned admission into a top 5 public health institution with a less than average grade point average, by speaking to my research experience, service involvement and career experience to position myself as a cutting-edge applicant.

After graduation, I went through 7 months of interviews and rejections for jobs that led me to taking Grad on Purpose to the next level - to serve graduate students and use my skillset to make sure graduates do not have to go through the same process in starting their careers, because we graduated for a PURPOSE - for a greater career, greater income, and greater PURPOSE.
